COUREILES,
lieu de vieS
Between land and sea, just a short distance from downtown La Rochelle, Coureilles is an exceptional heritage site nestled within a one-hectare park.
Originally a farmhouse rebuilt in the 17th century, the site was renovated in 2024 using traditional materials and craftsmanship, under the supervision of La Rochelle-based heritage architect Virginie Segonne. The quality of the renovation was recognized in 2025 by the Fondation du Patrimoine as part of its “eco-restoration” program.
In 2026, Coureilles was reborn as an open and diverse living space. People come here for all aspects of daily life: lunch, dinner, staying overnight, working, and gathering.
Designed as a village square on a human scale, Coureilles is a place where art, gastronomy, and conviviality blend naturally. A living space rooted in history, yet focused on the present.

Nine apartments, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms, designed as true living spaces for stays of two days or more with family, friends, or as a couple.
Where the charm of the past (stone, wood, period fireplaces) meets modern comfort, allowing you to fully experience Coureilles.
In the heart of the courtyard, the Préau is the place for large gatherings and meals with friends and family. Around the rotisserie and wood-fired oven, we gather for a simple yet hearty lunch or dinner. Under the covered courtyard or around one of the tables scattered throughout the vegetable garden, everyone enjoys Coureilles at their own pace.

Perched above the courtyard, the Rooftop offers a magnificent view of the manor house and the century-old plane tree, ideal for after-work drinks or an outdoor aperitif.
Connected to the restaurant but also accessible via a separate entrance, it’s the perfect spot to end a sunny day
